ABOUT ME
Res. Asst. Kursat Guner is actively working on offshore platforms, particularly wind energy platforms. His research areas include computational/theoretical fluid mechanics, wave behavior, and the hydrodynamics of floating structures, especially the dynamics of floating wind turbines.
He has helped increase the knowledge and interest in offshore/ocean engineering among individuals from various groups, and has supported students interested in offshore wind turbines in their research on various topics within this field.
