ABOUT ME
Dr Ali Tatar graduated from Istanbul Technical University as a Mechanical Engineer with BSc and MSc degrees in 2012 and 2015, respectively. Following, he earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London in 2020. Before moving to the UK in 2015, Dr. Ali Tatar worked as a Noise and Vibration Engineer in Arcelik and Ford OTOSAN in Türkiye. In his professional life in the UK, Dr Tatar worked as a Research Associate at University of Bristol, Department of Aerospace Engineering between 2019 and 2022. Later, he joined Leonardo (AgustaWestland) Helicopters and worked there as a Senior Structural Dynamics Engineer for 1 year. In his current job, he has been working as an Assistant Professor at Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics since January 2024. Dr Tatar has also been appointed as an Honorary Research Fellow by University of Bristol.
