PEC2HY: Eco-Friendly Photoelectrochemical Hydrogen Generation Devices Based on Carbon Textile Composite Photoelectrodes
PEC2HY Project, supported by TUBITAK-NRF funding, will develop photoanodes, photocathodes and tandem cells for photoelectrochemical hydrogen production. Thin-film deposition, cell design and electrochemical tests will be carried out
ITU project team will develop photocathodes with with various dopants for acceptable absorption spectrum to the solar light and a proper band structure for PEC applications.

H2SEA: Flow Through Electrolysis of H2S for Hydrogen Production
H2SEA project, supported by TUBITAK Bilateral program, will work on converting hydrogen sulfur (H2S), also found in depth of Blacksea, electrochemically to hydrogen. Technoeconomic analysis for different production approaches will be carried out for economic and environmental impact. Material synthesis, characterization and electrochemical system development/tests will be performed.

123M380: Developing CVD-Graphene Supported Phthalocyanine Catalyst and Gas/Liquid Diffusion Electrode Flow Cells for Higher Electron Electrochemical Conversion of CO2
In this TUBITAK 1001 project, CO2 will be, electrochemically, converted into gas and liquid fuels. Chemical synthesis, catalyst development, GC-MS characterizations and electrochemical experiments will be carried out.
